BADLANDS. JAN HENDRIX

The publication of lovingly-crafted elegant and has been aconstant aspect in the work of Jan Hendrix (1949), Dutch artistbased in Mexico for three decades. This book, with a series of prints inspired by the landscape of Lanzarote (Canary Islands),distinctive accent adds to his vast production. The framework ofperspectives characteristic of their frames on the universe of botany, putting off purchases in Malpais portraying metaphysicalenvironment, ranging from the big picture to zoom in on the detailbecomes emblematic abstract.
Among these fantastic photographs and engravings sequenceswere inserted an essay by the art critic and writer Juan ManuelBonet, which puts Hendrix's path in the tradition of great artists-travelers.
