Los Angeles Fire Department has recently been confronted with enormous challenges and it is natural to be interested in the nature of these horrible fires and the monstrosity the heroic fire fighters battled. What is more difficult is to show the heartbreak and pain of the families that lost their homes and the horrible deaths of the civilian victims caught up in the fires. The fire was still active at the time of writing with more than 6,770 structures destroyed and 25 civilian fatalities. It has caused incredible human hardship and financial loss.
