The 5th. European Congress of Methodology took place at the Faculty of Psychology of the University of Santiago de Compostela, Spain, between the 17th and 20th of July, 2012. The European Association of Methodology (EAM) in collaboration with the Society for Multivariate Analysis in the Behavioural Sciences (SMABS), which on this occasion celebrated its 28th Conference, organises a Congress of this type in Europe every other year. The previous Congress was hosted by the Institute for Educational Progress (IQB) Humboldt University of Berlin, Germany, in 2010. This volume contains the Abstracts of the contributions presented at the 5th European Congress of Methodology, which have been classified into the following sections: Presidential Address; Keynote Addresses; Symposia; Papers; Posters and Workshops.
