It was here that scientists were able to harness the power of the atom, developing the weaponry used at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Archival documents, vintage and recent photographs, and a selection of letters from over fifty years of correspondence between Ed Grothus and various politicians, scientists, members of the media, and his relatives take us back and forth through the nuclear history of the United States.
