The collection shows that Gaudí had reached his formal and stylis- tic peak when he built La Pedrera - Casa Milà. Its uniqueness and its patrimo- nial and artistic value were amply demonstrated when it was includ- ed in the catalog of the Artistic Heritage of the city of Barcelona in 1962, with the declaration as a Cultural Site of National Interest (BCIN) in 1969, and when UNE- SCO inscribed it as a World Her- itage Cultural Site in 1984 for its exceptional universal value.
